We are a locally owned and operated wholesale food and beverage supplier working with the hospitality and related industries within North & West Auckland. We are looking for a reliable delivery driver that understands the meaning of "Customer Service". You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive their deliveries in full, on time and to the expected standards. Since you will be actively involved in interacting with our customers, it is of great importance that you possess excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. **The responsibilities of this position include**: Driving a class 2 truck and delivery of freight to food service customers. - This will be Monday to Friday with Rostered Saturdays. - Occasionally loading trucks - Occasionally picking and packing orders - Adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety policies **To be successful in this role you will need**: - Full clean class 2 license. - Ability to work well with a team. - Reliable, punctual and trustworthy - Flexible, with a quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and willing to change hours when required. - Good attention to detail and accurate - Well presented. - A positive work ethic and attitude - Good communication and customer service skills - Good physical fitness as there is a lot of heavy lifting involved. **What's in it for you**: - Staff discount at Gilmours North Shore - A positive, supportive, work environment - Training and career development opportunities - Strong store values - Fun work environment If the description above sounds like you and you want to join a fun, productive team then we want to hear from you Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
