**About the role**:
Providing outstanding coordination and organisational support to The Office of the Crown Solicitor at Palmerston North - Te Tari o Te Rōia Matua a Te Karauna ki Papaioea, who prosecute serious crime in the Manawatū, Tararua and Horowhenua region. This is a Monday
- Friday, 37.5 hour per week role. Due to the nature of this role, 'in office' would be the predominant setting.
This is a 9-month fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend.
Located in central Palmerston North, your workspace will be open plan and surrounded by a welcoming and supportive team of 12.
You will format and collate relevant court documents, ensuring these are sent to the Court in a timely manner - some of which can be urgent or court-imposed deadlines. You will be exposed to files and information of a sensitive and confidential nature.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Agile and resilient - this role is fast paced with an ever-changing priority list
- Organised and accurate - attention to detail is a must
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with a wide range of people
- Proactive, with a logical solution-based approach
- Previous experience in a role where your ability to multitask under time pressure was integral to your success
- Quick learner, with established computer skills including Microsoft 365 and cloud-based systems
