The Pacific Health Navigator role sits within the Pacific Health Navigation team made up of navigators and clinical staff based at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial hospital. The team works to deliver person and family centred care to support Pacific peoples to confidently navigate the health system while working in partnership with local agencies, services and providers. This ensures our Pacific people gain access to health and welfare support as needed.
What you will bring
You will be confident working across diverse environments and teams and have good interpersonal and communication skills. It is essential that you are customer and community focussed. You will also bring:
Commitment and understanding of Pacific cultural values, processes and principles
Proficiency in one or more Pacific language, as well as comprehension, written and spoken English
Experience within a project and programme environment
Demonstrable experience in engaging stakeholders and networks
Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
A full Drivers Licence
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory
