Drive a culture of continual process improvement as IT Operations Lead

An influential, well-established client in Hamilton is seeking to hire an IT Operations Lead to fulfill this exciting phase of growth within their team. This permanent position is an excellent opportunity for a technically proficient individual to manage specialist teams.

Energised by leading a team of professionals, you will oversee helpdesk services, improvement solutions, and customer service to users and external stakeholders. With 5-10 plus years of experience within an IT infrastructure environment, you will be backed by your knowledge in Cloud Infrastructure with equal exposure to Virtualization Technologies, especially in VMWare. Responsible for managing the team’s performance, you will set clear expectations together with providing mentoring and development opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include installing and maintaining computer, server, LAN hardware, and Windows/Linux/Unix software environments. You will monitor and support Virtual/Cloud, and LAN infrastructure, together with database administration of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Servers. Experience managing voice and data communications are highly desirable.
