We are continuing to build our Digital team and due to this growth are pleased to be able to welcome an additional Site Reliability Engineer / Kaipūhanga Horopū Papahoko to the Z whānau.

Our services need to be reliable, remain operational as well as being continuously improved - as a natural problem solver you will bring a solutions focus along with strong technical skills. This role has a broad scope, it impacts our staff, our sites and our customers and will see you work across the business to understand priorities and needs.

This is a senior role within the team, that bridges the gap between development, operations and infrastructure while also collaborating with our business to understand the needs and drivers and turning this into action. **You will have the opportunity to**
- Design and implement monitoring and alerting for services
- Identify areas for continuous improvement or automation
- Provide technical input to projects on risks, approach and impacts to our environments
- Help define features based on user stories
- Maintain and expand our CI/CD pipeline through automation and scripting
- Work with developers to build and implement fixes
- Collaborate with the squad to define SLI’s and SLO’s
- Understand and implement error budgets for systems

**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll bring to Z**
- 3+ years in a relevant environment and role
- Experience with Microsoft Technology stack
- Exposure to cloud environments
- Experience working with integration technologies
- Familiarity with analysing and debugging code
- Great communication skills and a love of solving problems
- Absolute passion for building supportable and reliable products

The base salary range for this role is $104,210 to $122,600 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
