**The Opportunity**:The Line Leader (Roasting) will need to support the technical, hands-on tasks, covering the maintenance and operation of roasters and other relevant machinery whilst also leading the lines overall operational effectiveness and efficiency, driving the team to achieve agreed outputs. As the first point of contact for any issues, this will be managed through leading by example, setting clear plans and goals with the team and guiding them through the work processes as needed to achieve targets.

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Ensuring materials, people, and resource requirements are identified and planned for e.g., production planning & ordering materials
- Reporting any line deviations, safety hazards, incidents, material deliveries, shortfalls, quality issues etc. to the correct person in a timely manner
- Participating in continuous improvement activities as required
- Dismantling, cleaning, basic maintenance and reassembly of machine or line
- Overseeing smooth operation of the roasting stations
- Ensure QA checks and relevant documentation is completed in full
- Supporting team members in GMP/Hygiene, procedures, paperwork, labelling etc.
- Taking responsibility for quality and consistency of products
- Ensuring all factory rules and procedures are followed by the team

The working hours are Monday - Friday from 8.00am to 4.30pm, requiring some flexibility to cover shifts if/when needed.
