**About the Role**

In this role you will provide practical support to tangata whaiora who access our service and to provide support to clinical staff who deliver those services working under the guidance and supervision of a registered health professional.

The multidisciplinary teams are strong, collaborative teams based in Hamilton, working Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will be welcomed as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team which has a strong focus on collaboration and tangata whaiora and whanau centric care.

The Mental Health and Addictions service deliver a variety of services across the Waikato region. We are as a service undertaking a huge programme of change to deliver better outcomes to tāngata whai ora and whānau in our region. **About you**
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- be open to learning and engage in development opportunities
- be able to work using the guiding principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
- have well developed time management skills with the ability to co-ordinate personal and team tasks in an efficient and organised manner
- be computer literate and have the ability to complete documentation, both written and electronic
- have a current full drivers licence
- have proven experience working in mental health and addiction services.
