This Is Electric is an electrical contracting and maintenance provider based in Pukekohe.

We work on all sorts of cool industrial projects across the Auckland & Waikato regions including small to large commercial & residential electrical projects, commercial and residential electrical contracting & maintenance, solar solutions and more.

Most of our work is in commercial & residential industries which provides you a fantastic opportunity to really use your brain and challenge yourself with an emphasis on returning you home safely to your family every day

Business has really taken off, so we are looking for another pair of hands to help strengthen our team and achieve our company goals.

We have an excellent opportunity available for an Estimator to join our team.

The other key aspects of the role include:

- Confirm scope and resolve any issues with original tender/pricing request with client.
- Work with Supervisor/s to set the contract or job up, including any reporting or documentation requirements
- Material procurement with assistance from the Supervisor or Administration Assistant
- Prepare and submit Contract/ job completion documentation.

To be successful in this role, you require:

- Previous experience in electrical tendering procedures is desirable. However, if you don't meet these criteria, we will accept previous quoting experience.
- An Electrical Trade qualification with appropriate registration with the EWRB and a current practicing license is beneficial to have once held but not essential that they are current.
- The ability to assess bid documents and identify key components that affect pricing and delivery
- Supervisory experience in a relevant role is desirable but not essential.
- Proficient in Excel and Word and able to multitask
- pricing several projects at once.
- Be accurate with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills
- both written and verbal.
- Be personable and easy-going, with a positive nature.
- The ability to work well in a team environment.
