Our Department of Gastroenterology currently operates 4 endoscopy procedure rooms and we offer a large volume of outpatient services and on-site gastroenterology diagnostic services. Our Gastroenterology Service provides high quality under-graduate and post-graduate teaching with an active research program in place. You will work within a team including 17 other Gastroenterologists.

Responsibilities include, endoscopy, acute general gastroenterology care on the gastroenterology ward and the out of hours gastroenterology roster. There may also be contribution to the provision of outpatient clinics.

We are seeking a colleague who strives to advance the Gastroenterology department.

Salary and conditions of service will be in accordance with the New Zealand ASMS Award Agreement.

Applicants must have suitable training and experience in Gastroenterology and should be / be able to be registered with the New Zealand Medical Council.
