Lower Hutt, New Zealand Fletcher Major Projects Full time

**RiverLink **is a transformative project about to get underway in Hutt City. We’re very excited to announce that alongside AECOM, Fletcher Construction will be joining project partners Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, Hutt City Council, Greater Wellington, and iwi Taranaki Whānui ki te Upoko o te Ika and Ngāti Toa Rangatira to deliver this project.

RiverLink includes crucial flood protection and river restoration work, improvements to public transport, walking and cycling routes, local roads and the SH2 Melling Interchange, as well as urban revitalisation of the Lower Hutt city centre. Construction is expected to start later this year and be completed in 2027.

Provide leadership and management in the commercial and finance fields to effectively support the business in attaining alliance objectives and achieving excellence in its key result areas.
- Prepare, implement and review the commercial management plan
- Develop the alliance budget in support of the Construction and Project Management teams
- Manage subcontract award and procurement of major work packages
- Establish and maintain the procurement and purchasing systems
- Review, negotiate and recommend all variations, disputes and claims

**About You**:

- Bachelor Business/Commerce in Accounting. Accounting qualification (CA or CPA preferred); or a tertiary qualification in commerce, finance, accounting and/or quantity surveying.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within a similar position.
- Strong commercial understanding and capability in a civil infrastructure programme context
- Significant business partnering experience
- A sound knowledge of Excel, Power BI and an understanding of JDE will be an advantage.
- People leadership experience
