**About the role**:
Legal Services works across Council supporting all business units to identify and manage legal risk, whilst delivering on the community outcomes and strategic priorities of Council. Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Legal & Democratic Services, the newly created position of Legal Operations Improvement Lead takes responsibility for:

- Reviewing and implementing targeted legal operations plans
- Assessing and making recommendations on system and process improvements
- Measure, monitoring and managing levels of service
- Championing the adaptation of new processes and systems
- Driving effectiveness, efficiency and value for money within Legal & Democratic Services

**Our ideal applicant will**:

- Have a background in the legal sector, either in a support or practice management capacity
- Be a strong communicator, with the ability to influence
- Have a solutions focussed, process driven mindset
