Charge Nurse Manager, Huia Ward, Waitakere Hospital

An exciting new opportunity has become available at Waitakere Hospital for a Senior Registered Nurse. We are now looking to fill the role of Charge Nurse Manager for the Huia Medical Ward at Waitakere Hospital. This a 20 bed acute General Medical and Cardiology ward. This is a full time role in a busy ward environment with plenty of opportunities for you to enhance your leadership and management experience with our support.
If you are an experienced Registered Nurse, preferably with Cardiology expertise, professional and clinical leadership skills and post graduate education, we encourage you to apply. You will be responsible for the day to day ward management and professional development of staff to ensure they deliver excellent patient care. You will be expected to manage clinical risk and implement systems and processes to improve patient access to services and achieve quality outcomes for care. We can offer you a supportive and caring working environment including a robust orientation and continued opportunities for your own growth and development.
Ideally you will be an experienced registered nurse with some leadership experience and hold a post-graduate qualification. You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in general medicine and cardiology. If you can demonstrate experience in clinical leadership. contemporary nursing knowledge, a passion for developing nurses and delivery of excellent patient care then you will stand out from the rest.
