NZ07 Horticulture LImited is looking for 2 Production & Quality Supervisors for our Kiwifruit Orchards that are based in the Bay of Plenty region. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of handling the operations of the contracted orchards in our horticulture business.

To be considered for this position youll ideally have 6 months relevant experience in either horticulture or supervision/team leader in another workplace setting. You should have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.

You will be also expected to perform management tasks such as:

- Making sure that all compliance in relating to Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations are maintained and training material is available/recorded when c
- communicating with farmers and growers
- Ensuring all work complies with all current/relevant government legislation, policy and procedures
- Visiting worksite within the area to ensure standard of work complies with both the employers and growers expectations.
- Provide daily/timely update to high management including the manger and/or director to keep them up to date on operations-related matters.
- Always encourage teamwork and establish a great working environment to work.
- Provide assistance to management in identifying issues and facilitating suitable resolutions.
- keep accurate records relating to all onsite activities in accordance with the relative legislation and industry requirements (including employee hours of work etc)

You will be responsible for our business operations with other management staff reporting to and supporting you.

Our worksites are based in and around the Bay of Plenty region and as the role will require some travel, the successful applicant will have their own transport.

This is a full time Permanent position with a minimum of 35 hours per week and the successful applicant will be required to manage the operations of our contracted orchards. Pay rate starts at $29.66 per hour.
