**Aquatic Specialist**
The Aquatics Specialist maintains all aquatics division apparatus and equipment; conducts, assists and participates in training programs, inspections, and related aquatic education and prevention activities; and related work as required.
Under general supervision, performs variety of technical work in the operation, maintenance and delivery of a variety of aquatic programs; review and analysis of departmental programs, procedures, and staff scheduling; engages in instructing, coaching, lifeguarding, rescue and all other education and prevention activities in promoting aquatic programs.

Ideally you will be able to:
- Proficient knowledge and experience with proper aquatic exercise techniques, competitive stroke mechanics, and safety skills
- Effectively instruct and lead aquatic fitness classes, swim team programs to varying age groups
- Responsible for choreographing, goal setting, and leading water fitness classes and/or swim team workouts
- Coordinate programs, pool space and time as needed
- Motivate, teach and attract new membership
- Perform administrative duties related to running instructional classes and/or a swim team
