Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is one of New Zealand's largest tertiary education providers offering a comprehensive range of certificate to degree level qualifications to New Zealanders of all ages and walks of life.

Duties for this senior leadership role include overseeing and managing the delivery of programme provision as well as quality improvement (teaching and learning); and ensuring compliance with all academic policies and procedures.

**Ideally you will have these minimum requirements**:

- Master's qualification in Education, Educational Leadership or relevant field
- 7+ years' experience in a senior educational leadership role
- Relevant management experience within the education sector
- Relevant teaching experience in the tertiary sector preferred
- The ability to understand and converse in te reo Māori and an excellent understanding of Māori values, culture and tikanga are preferred

Skills required for this role include excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent planning and project/tasks management skills, proven ability to analyse, investigate and interpret data, issues and situations and sound understanding of risk management processes and procedures.
