Fixed Term, Full-time

80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

An exciting new 3 year pilot is being set up in Hawkes Bay to support whānau, tamariki and rangatahi living with neurodiveristy in our community.

You will join a small team who will be well supported by Te Ara Manapou and Te Kunenga Mai rongokako (Child Development Service).

Whitau Ohākune offers the opportunity to work with a small caseload of clients in an intensive strength-based approach. Knowledge and passion of working with complex families is a must as is a resilience in your professional practice.Experience and or knowledge of neurodiversity particularly Autism and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and it’s impact on the young person and their whānau is essential, as you will be walking alongside people as the navigate all aspects of the life in Hawkes Bay.
