**Auckland Forecasting Centre Manager**
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the AFC team by setting strategic goals, driving model development, and overseeing work programs.
- Provide exceptional people leadership, guiding the team through potential changes and driving business improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with Boards, governance groups, senior executives, and external consultants to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
- Demonstrate a strong business sense, driving the team in new directions while maintaining a focus on stakeholders and customers.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Proven experience in people leadership, especially in times of potential change and business improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- An understanding of traffic modelling and demand forecasting is desirable.
- Ability to quickly understand technical details and effectively communicate with technical experts.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to drive the team in a new direction.
- Demonstrated stakeholder and customer focus.
