**The Team**:
The NZ Marketing Team is made up of a combination of creatives, analytics nerds, and digital enthusiasts who all collaborate in developing marketing activities and initiatives to help drive Acquisition, Retention, and a positive Customer Experience.We’re predominantly responsible for growth in the Direct channel (bizcover.co.nz). Along with supporting the Broker channel (bizcoverforbrokers.co.nz) and the Partner channel (referrals, partnerships, white label solutions).
**The Role**:
**This is an all-round Digital Marketing Specialist role** where you’ll be responsible for leading, driving and executing all things SEM, SEO, Website. Responsible too for reporting on a regular basis providing Google Analytics (GA4), SEMRUSH, and HotJar (heatmapping tool) insights.
Your main focus is to run and manage SEM Campaigns and support the ambitious growth targets for NZ. Other responsibilities include SEO, Content Marketing, Display Ads and Website maintenance and updates (WordPress). You are also expected to provide support for other marketing functions as and when needed.
**SEM Management (˜50%)**
- Plan, manage & optimize SEM accounts (Google AdWords, Bing):
- New keyword development & testing.
- Ad copywriting (brief copywriter) & testing.
- Develop & execute testing plans.
- Develop & implement new strategies.
- Manage SEM budget & CPC/CPL cost controls.
- Weekly/Monthly measurement - reporting on results & insights.
- Support Marketing Manager with FY23/24 SEM Strategy.
**SEO / Content Marketing (˜20%)**
- Implement & maintain SEO strategies.
- Develop, implement, test new SEO strategies or ideas.
- Conduct on-site & off-site SEO audits & competitor analysis.
- Manage all aspects of content marketing (topics & briefs) for our Internal Biz Blog & External Blogs (back-linking strategy).
- Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to create content &/or execute.
- Use different marketing channels to drive traffic to blog site & build leads.
**Display Ads (˜5%)**
- Manage & optimize Prospecting + Re-Targeting banner ads (‘always-on’).
- Liaise with Digital Agency to ensure continued performance, spend etc.
**Website Management (˜20%)**
- Maintain & manage company website(s), including creation of new web pages, design templates, & changes as required or needed.
- Provide creative & content ideas for website improvements.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to improve - the usability, design, content & conversion of the website.
- Weekly/Monthly measurement - reporting on results & insights.
**General (˜5%)**
- Manage digital - budgets, process invoices, tracking etc
- Support the marketing team to manage campaigns/activities across:
- Social Media
- Events
**Ad hoc projects as required**
**Requirements**:
- At least 5+ years in a Digital Marketing position (within Insurance a bonus but not essential).
- Degree qualified in either marketing or business-related field.
- Experienced in Google AdWords, SEM, Website and content enhancements (WordPress).
- Strong analytical & reporting skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to manage internal & external stakeholders.
- Technology savvy
