**About the role**:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our team in
**Wellington** in a Customer Support role, supporting our brokers and working directly with our clients.
The Financial & Professional Risks team specialises in the provision of risk advisory services in relation to Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers Liability and other complex liability insurance solutions, as well as claims handling and advocacy.
Ideally, you will have exceptional attention to detail and communication skills to provide both administrative support to Brokers and assistance regarding account, cover and policy queries to clients. Previous insurance experience is not a requirement to be successful in the role as full training will be provided.
This role will provide great opportunities to learn from industry leaders and is a great stepping stone into a rewarding career in Insurance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Resolve client queries (account and cover queries and policy amendments)
- Assist the Broker with administration to ensure client requirements are met and policies are renewed on time
- Process alterations, endorsements and set up new policies and finance agreements
- Provide support to the client when the Broker is unavailable
- Prepare and dispatch renewal letters (including declarations, rating charts/underwriter placing’s) after consultation with the Broker
- Assist the Broker with the collection of premiums within the required timeframe
- Prepare underwriter submissions and client reports for new business
**Skills and Experience**:
- Experience in the insurance industry or a customer service role
- The ability to build and maintain enduring relationships with clients and team members
- Highly organised and efficient with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Competent/advanced user of Microsoft Office
- Desirable - A certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5).
