**About you**

Truck Driver and Coordinator represents our business in the community. Therefore, we are looking for a proactive person with a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills. You are someone who enjoys the independence of working alone and have advanced communication and time management skills.

**Must have**:

- A clean and valid class 2 New Zealand driving license
- Minimum 1 year truck driving experience
- Being a new business Level 5 qualification in any discipline and previous business coordination and development experience is required.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Reasonable level of fitness as the role is highly physical.
- Clean Police vetting and ability to pass drug and alcohol screening tests.
- Advanced oral and written English communication skills.
- Availability to work early morning and over weekends regularly

**Beneficial to have**:

- Design knowledge is beneficial to help design marketing campaigns and materials.
- Fluency in Urdu
- Ability to manage websites and other social media platforms for online queries and business marketing campaigns.

**Truck Driver and Coordinator**

Job Purpose

As a Truck Driver and Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing day to day business activities, planning and operating vehicle and equipment compliant with NZTA guidelines to ensure a safe and timely collection and delivery of goods. You will also engage with potential and existing clients to further grow the business.

Working relationships

You will directly report to the Directors of the business and liaise with the business’s clients and other team members.

Job tasks and responsibilities
- Stopping at designated locations to pick up and set down freight.
- Establishing destinations and determining most appropriate routes, ensuring freight arrive at destinations on time.
- Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading, assisting with loading and unloading operations using lifting and tipping devices moreover observing safety requirements when loading and unloading through vehicles.
- You will also be required to keep accurate records, log book, paperwork and making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely.
- Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight, ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage.
- Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries.
- Coordinate day to day business activities.
- Develop and run marketing campaigns.
- Engage with clients to grow business.

Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum of clean and valid New Zealand class 2 driving license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in truck driving
- Minimum 1 year of previous business development and coordination experience (including working with clients and converting enquiries into business)
- Ability in managing websites and other social media platforms for online queries and business marketing.

Working conditions
