**About the role**

As a Civil Worker, you will join our Underground team in providing distribution network services to WEL including civil, installation and construction works.

**Responsibilities**
- Trenching and laying of underground utility services.
- Controlling and managing civil site works, including traffic management.
- Participating in a callout roster for 24hr fault response and repair.
- Interpreting plans and managing site hazards.
- Liaising with the control centre, dispatch and operations staff.

**Skills and experience**
- Fit and able to cope with a physically demanding job.
- Current digger and HT licence.
- Demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to workplace health and safety
- Experience of the electrical industry & Level 2 Electrical Supply qualification would be of benefit
