**The Role**

This teaching-focused role is an opportunity for a PhD graduate with relevant industry experience to contribute to teaching, scholarship and industry engagement in the field of Business Information Systems.

You will enhance the positive energy and collegiality within the Faculty and must embrace and value diversity and enjoy working inclusively with students and colleagues You will also show enthusiasm and aptitude for using digital resources and knowledge to enrich learning opportunities for our students.

Qualification:

- A completed PhD in Business Information Systems

Teaching and Learning:

- Previous lecturing and course coordination experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, evidence of curriculum development and, also, experience supervising student projects.
- Skills and experience to teach in the main areas of business information systems, including business process analysis, database management, systems analysis, project management, and digital transformation.
- Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to student success and equity in education.

Scholarship and Professional Practice
- Preferably relevant industry experience as a business information systems practitioner.
- Evidence of industry engagement related to emerging digital technologies and a willingness to maintain professional currency.
- The ability to undertake scholarship that addresses the implications of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence for professional practice and education.
