Our Group Property division oversees and manages Fletcher Building’s vast and diverse property portfolio. This includes c.600 property interests in New Zealand across a variety of building spaces from industrial distribution centres, manufacturing plants, office buildings, retail warehouses, showrooms, quarries and storage yards to name a few

**The Role**

Reporting to the Head of Property NZ you will be primarily responsible for managing the Fletcher Building Head Office based in Penrose, Auckland. As the Campus Facilities Manager your role will be to lead the team that delivers FM, Reception and Corporate services to c.900 occupiers across multiple buildings. The role brings exposure to all levels of the business with positive stakeholder liaison being front and centre. You will be focused on providing a professional, productive, and safe environment to employees, visitors and contractors. The operations ensure effective space utilisation, quality contractor management and cost control across our occupied premises. There is also positive ongoing opportunity to improve the Campus through targeted project work.
- Ensure the seamless day-to-day operation of the corporate head office properties (Fletcher House ‘Campus’) in Penrose, Auckland.
- Drive the delivery of soft and hard FM services alongside the in-house Facilities Supervisor as well as external contractors
- Take ownership of compiling and managing the budget and finances for the Campus
- Lead and manage the reception team responsible for visitor management, receiving inbound calls and acting as the first point of contact for all staff queries
- Provide a high level of customer care to our on-site employees through a well-maintained and efficient operation of corporate services
- Ensure the maintenance plans of the Campus are up to date and improved with specific relation to future planned maintenance items
- Undertake projects, site improvement work or activities to enhance the Campus and as required by the business
- Manage staff relocations as required by the business

**About You**

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Facilities Manager ideally with experience of managing a large, corporate facility such as ours. You will also require:

- Demonstrable leadership and management ability
- Effective communication (written and verbal), relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- High customer service ethic; prompt, responsive, reliable.
- A flexible approach
- Fantastic people skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in the property/facilities profession is desired but not essential
