**As a Branch Manager, you will**:

- Lead and manage personnel, facilities, and company resources.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the branch.
- Ensure quality standards are being maintained and oversee safety standards for the branch.
- Plan and develop new production processes.
- This position will have responsibility and accountability for the operations of the branch, including but not limited to, the care and upkeep of equipment maintenance and operational projects.
- Establish branch goals and ensure these objectives are achieved.
- Ensure the most efficient methods are used to process all metal and make changes to improve the quality and speed of production.
- Continuous improvement of key measures including labour & stock variances, customer complaints, health, safety, environmental compliance, and staff turnover.
- Leadership and development of the yard staff to get their full engagement in the business.

**Skills and Experience Required**:
Essential Skills: Minimum 2-3 years as a Branch / Regional Manager responsible for a sizeable facility (10 plus staff). Proven leadership ability with multiple direct reports. Ability to mentor and train key staff to increase the capability and capacity of the team. Strong problem solving and decision-making capability. Experience operating heavy diggers and / or hoists.

Desirable Skills: Knowledge of the Metal Industry, and strong in implementing Operational Excellence initiatives. Graduate or further education in Operations and People Management

Essential Qualifications: Any tertiary qualification is desirable but not essential. Desirable Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Operations, Engineering or Business are an advantage. Hoist license, WTR Endorsed, F Endorsed, Class 2, Class 4 licence, First Aid Certified

**This role will be permanent and full time.**

Drug & Alcohol Testing is done for all new hires and random drug/alcohol testing is carried out on current staff to help keep our workspaces safe.
