It's an exciting time at Te Kura and we are looking for an innovative and collaborative Assistant Team Leader - Learning Support to join the Northern Region.

Passionate about making a difference for students with additional needs, you will be supporting the Team Leader, Learning Support to ensure the delivery of Te Kura's Learning Support to our ākonga achieve their learning goals.

As the Assistant Team Leader, Learning Support, you will:

- Work closely with Finance, HR and internal/external stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate processing of Learning Support funding and employment contracts
- Support the Team Leader with management of Learning Support kaimahi (including, but not limited to, recruitment, performance, leave, learning & development, and health/safety/wellbeing)
- Work collaboratively with other Te Kura kaimahi and external agencies to deliver learning support to ākonga

You'll come from a teaching background and have experience working with students who have additional learning needs, and knowledge of special education pedagogy. As a strong communicator and excellent relationship builder, you have proven stakeholder management and are a natural influencer.
