**Dementia Team Leader / Register Nurse - Ranfurly Manor**

Ranfurly Residential Care Centre is located in Feilding and is a purpose-built aged care facility providing a wide range of care predominantly to the elderly from the Mid Central region. We are very focused on consistent and friendly resident care, and we are now seeking to appoint a full-time Registered Nurse as our Dementia Team Leader to join and lead and support the Dementia Team.

**What you’ll do**:
**♡**Help lead and inspire our team of nurses and caregivers to deliver best practice, person-centred care.

**♡** Ensure clinical excellence and continuous improvement in line with Nga Paerewa Health and Disability Standards.

**♡** Inspire confidence in others with your clinical knowledge and experience - and roll your sleeves up and lead by example.

**♡** Support our facility manager and clinical manager, collaborating on internal audits, compliance, care planning, resident health and well-being, and staff development

**♡** Communicate clearly and concisely and provide continuity and a point of contact for residents and families.

**♡** Manage your time effectively and embrace technology and tools.

**♡**Be able to problem solve, support the roster management process and fulfil on-call duties as rostered. This may require physical support afterhours or guidance and support via phone.

**What we’re looking for**:
**♡** An InterRAI trained registered nurse with an annual practicing certification and a big heart.

**♡** Proven aged care experience.

**♡** Previous experience in managing a team of registered nurses and caregivers.

**♡** Excellent work ethic and time management.

**♡** Someone who is decisive under pressure, empathetic in action, and relentlessly focused on high standards.

**♡** A collaborator, communicator and coach who lifts others up.

**♡** Strong assessment and care planning skills

**♡** Be eligible to work in New Zealand (NZ Residency or valid NZ work visa).

**♡** Ideally, you will be available to start as soon as possible.
