**We currently have an immediate need for a Network Management - Senior Software Test Engineer in New Zealand**
**INTRODUCTION**

Our business is technology focused, with our core competency lying in the development of high-performance wireless telecommunications and network management products.

We’re looking for an experienced test engineer with a software development capability to join our Network Management Systems development team, contributing expertise to the development of our network & service management platform. This is a key role requiring a capable engineer, who works well in an Agile Scrum environment.

Technologies include JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML5, Vue UI framework, Figma UI concept design, Storybook component development, YANG data modelling, SQL and non-SQL databases, and telecommunications networking (switching, routing, IP/MPLS). Testing technologies include Robot Framework, Python, Java, JavaScript, and Selenium.
**ROLE**

You’ll be involved throughout all stages of the software development life cycle, from reviewing and contributing to requirements associated with new product capabilities, through to investigation of reported customer issues.

Tasks to be undertaken include:

- Test analysis and design including specification of test cases.
- Manual and automated test execution, problem diagnosis, and reporting.
- Automated test development using Java, scripting languages and XML / JSON.
- Functional, performance, scalability, stability, and usability testing.
- Investigation of reported customer issues, involving collaborating with support staff, reproducing issues, and tracking to source.
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

Someone passionate about developing high quality software products, with strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and collaborates well in a Scrum team environment.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
