**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated Ear Nurse Specialist for a Public Health nursing position, based at the Children’s Health Hub Rotorua (1127 Haupapa Street). This is a permanent 0.6 FTE position, working 48 hours per fortnight allowing you to achieve the perfect work life balance. The ear nurse will work collaboratively to support children and their whanau to manage ear conditions.

**About you**

The successful will have:

- Registration with the Nursing Council of NZ
- Current APC
- Indepth knowledge of ear anatomy, and a passion for sharing this knowledge with clients, their whanau, and colleagues.
- A desire for continued education, including regular attendance at ear conference.
- Ability to identify and treat ear conditions
- Ability to refer patients to specialist services
- Understanding conductive and sensori-neural hearing loss
- Empathy with different cultures
- Ability to work autonomously

**Salary range**

$114,025 to $121,444 pro-rated to hours worked
