**The role**:
As our Communications & Engagement Advisor, you will help us achieve a positive customer experience through proactive liaison with the client and partners, the community and other stakeholders. You will help develop and manage key stakeholder relationships throughout through the implementation and delivery of the Communications plan.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Serve as a community advocate relating to construction delivery, ensuring the community voice is heard and that the delivery team always have the community best interests in mind.
- Develop and maintain strong channels with the community (including residents and local business) and other stakeholders, disseminating approved programme-related information, keeping them aware of changes and developments and ensuring complaints and enquiries are addressed
- Work with management on project issues and concerns of key stakeholders, and assist the manager to provide responses to stakeholder issues where required
- Undertake regular liaison, coordination and dissemination of information to key internal and external stakeholders, co-ordinating any essential service communications issues related to construction work.
You'll be a key champion of good communications for the project and your drive and passion will be critical to community and stakeholder engagement.
**To be successful in this role**:
- 2-5 years' experience in communications advisor or similar roles is required.
- Experience in developing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and diverse project team to achieve project outcomes.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
- Construction, project and/or engineering experience is desirable but not essential.
