Since 1974, Mitre 10 has been a cornerstone of New Zealand’s home improvement culture. We’re proud to be an award-winning, Kiwi-owned success story that inspires people to create spaces they love - at home, in the garden, and on the job site.
We’re now looking for a Supply Planner to join our Merchandise team at our Support Centre in Albany, Auckland. This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week) offering the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your ideas and expertise will make a real impact.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of imported products, ensuring smooth and cost-effective importation and distribution. You’ll drive efficiency through smart systems, seamless processes, and industry best practices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- ** Order Management**: Process new and repeat orders, integrate continuity products into forecasts, and manage allocations.
- ** Inventory Control**: Maintain optimal stock levels using forecasted sales data, avoiding out-of-stocks while staying within budget.
- ** Indent Orders**:Coordinate store orders, manage container ETAs, and support stores with unloading and invoicing.
- ** Shipping & Logistics**: Select shipping methods, manage purchase orders, and track supplier confirmations.
- ** Importation & Receipting**: Ensure accurate shipment tracking, documentation, and costing.
- ** Issue Resolution**:Investigate discrepancies, manage damages, and ensure timely order processing.
**What You’ll Bring**: We’re looking for someone who’s confident, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll ideally have:
- A bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of proven success in a similar role
- Strong SAP experience (essential)
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
- Expertise in quoting and costing products
- Hands-on experience with overseas purchasing and global shipping
- A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to precision
**Why You’ll Love Working Here**: At Mitre 10, we believe in rewarding our people. Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Generous staff buying privileges
- Life and trauma insurance
- Discounted medical insurance
- Birthday day off
- Flexible and hybrid working options
- A supportive, forward-thinking team culture
- Free parking
If you're ready to bring your supply planning expertise to a trusted Kiwi brand and help shape the future of home improvement, we’d love to hear from you
