The Taranaki Operations Centre is looking for a new Team Leader to lead our dedicated Customer Services team, with 1x full time, an on call casual and 2x part time Customer Service Representatives. We are located on 2 Smart Road, Waiwhakaiho, New Plymouth.
We are looking for someone who can think on their feet and support the team when the pressure is on. This permanent role supports a fantastic close knit, high performing and experienced team A big part of this role is the responsibility for the Safety and Wellbeing Co-ordination for the Taranaki area. A lot of time will be dedicated to ensure we are on top of our compliance requirements.
This role operates Monday - Friday (08:30am - 17:00pm), 40 hours per week with the flexibility to work outside these hours including Saturday mornings.

About You

You're a supportive leader, with previous experience successfully managing teams You are the type of person leader who takes a hands-on approach and demonstrates a commitment to safety while fostering a high performing, positive team culture Some other must haves are:

- A background in Health and Safety and / or the ability to pick up compliance quickly
- IT savvy and competent using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Proven success as a team leader
- Has resilience and a strong customer services background
- Someone who is adaptable & thrives in a dynamic working environment
