Brandt is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Territory Manager - Rental Equipment to join our team. The Territory Manager is responsible for implementing and achieving sales and marketing plans within the assigned territory, focusing on increasing construction rental market share across Waikato and Auckland. This role is key in driving the overall growth of Brandt Tractor's rental business in the region.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manage and rent equipment within the designated **Area of Responsibility (AOR)**.
- Travel throughout the AOR to service existing accounts and identify new opportunities.
- Grow the customer base by:
- Increasing share within existing accounts.
- Acquiring new customers.
- Identifying and developing Key Strategic Customers.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Stay up to date with customers' business activities and evolving needs.
- Prepare and maintain detailed customer reports, including:
- Sales call activities.
- Current and prospective customer lists.
- Develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies for your territory.
- Maintain current product knowledge, including competitor offerings.
- Complete all sales documentation accurately and on time.
- Manage travel requirements and expenses efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal-driven with a proven track record in rental sales.
- Demonstrated ability to build and expand sales within a defined territory.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Valid passport and availability for international travel.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
