This success has led to an increase in foot traffic so the purpose of this role would be to ensure all company property, merchandise/stock is correctly purchased and accounted for whilst maintaining a high level of visibility to deter illegal actions.

**The initial roster for this role is Sunday to Thursday (9:30am-7:00pm)**

**You will be involved in**:

- Be stationed at the trade checkout
- Conduct Foot and static patrols and and when necessary
- Checking vehicles and the load/items against the invoice/receipt, and dealing with any discrepancies
- Monitor and review camera footage and reported incidents and breaches
- Liaising with your team mates in the store and garden departments to identify and deter potential theft.
- Report any suspicious findings

**The ideal person for this position would need the following attributes**:

- Have an eye for details
- Prior experience in loss prevention preferred
- Knowledge of Timber and Building materials a distinct advantage
- Possess outstanding customer service skills
- Exercise honesty and fairness in all areas
- Have excellent time management skills
- Confident using electronic devices
- Display common sense & initiative
- Be physically fit
- A clean full New Zealand drivers’ license would be an advantage
