**What does a Technical Test Lead do at Fiserv?**

The APAC NZ Professional Services (PS) team is responsible for the delivery of mobile banking solutions to our clients.

You will play a key role in the software delivery process for our team, delivering mobile banking solutions in international markets.

This is a hands-on role where you will work with the rest of the development team and take ownership of the test deliverables to ensure only the highest quality products make it out the door.

**Position**:

- Is part of the technical lead team, working alongside the QA Manager and the QA Team.
- Works closely with the client in terms of defect validation, triage and overall defect management.
- Has a strong relationship with the development tech leads and QA teams across the project team.
- Works in an expert/advisor capacity to all members of the QA practice.
- Able to act as a QA Adviser on best practice to clients and other Fiserv programs

**Your responsibilities**:

- Understand, communicate and execute on the scope of testing required to meet the needs of the project or desired business capabilities
- Review test plans, assist with managing post-design scope changes and resolving issues throughout the SDLC
- Ability to plan and execute Integration testing with 3rd party systems
- Develop and maintain standard QA and Test documents to form an integral part of the delivery methodology.
- Understand the system architecture, release and environment management, and contribute towards quality initiatives and overall process improvements
- Supporting and coaching QA team members with test execution

**To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and capabilities**:

- 6+ years of hands on experience in software testing including Test plan writing, Test Case writing, Test execution and Test reporting and metrics.
- 5+ years’ experience in mobile banking or equivalent industry experience
- Capable technical tester proficient in API testing and the use of tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Fiddler, Charles or similar
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Rapid Software Testing techniques
- Ability to plan and execute Integration testing with 3rd party systems
- Solid defect tracking and management experience with ability to implement and run Program level Defect Triage between a client and multiple project/scrum teams
- Ability to take the lead on a program or multi project/scrum team level creating and implementing testing strategies and approaches.
- Able to plan QA activities over multiple release cycles
- Ability to provide feedback based on previous experience into the continuous improvement of the testing process.
