Leading Hand

The Leading Hand will play a key role in supervising and coordinating the activities of our production team to ensure efficient operations and the highest standards of quality are consistently met.
This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and productivity.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to schedule.
- Provide guidance and direction to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor workflow to identify and address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and support to existing team members.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and optimize production efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and company.
**Qualifications**:
- Full Drivers licence
- 3 -4 years Carpentry experience
- Have your own tools.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Relevant certifications or training in leadership or production management is a plus.
