**About The opportunity | Ko te āheinga**:
We’re looking for a creative and strategic Digital Content Specialist to join our Communications and Engagement Team, to elevate our online presence and drive meaningful engagement accross our digital platforms. This is a full-time, fixed term (up to 10 months) opportunity based in Napier.

In this role, you'll lead the planning and delivery of targeted social media and marketing campaigns, manage our Mailchimp communications, and create compelling content that connects with our community. You'll use tools like Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager to optimise reach, track analytics, and continually improve performance, all while working closely with our Digital Team and Communications Advisors.

You’ll be comfortable being the voice of our social media platforms - responding to comments, collaborating with partners, and keeping a finger on the pulse of digital trends. Passionate about community engagement, storytelling, and making a real impact through digital channels, you will help us shape how we communicate, connect, and grow with our community.

You will also have:

- A relevant tertiary qualification and extensive professional experience OR
- A relevant bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role/relevant position
- Proven work experience in a Digital Content management or similar role
