An exciting opportunity exists for an **Accounts Payable Administrator **working within the Finance team at Dicker Data.

This position covers the responsibilities involved with accounts payables, including submissions and maintenance, reconciliation, and timely payment of trade and non-trade creditor accounts.

**General Responsibilities**
- Matching and reconciling Invoices against approved Purchased Orders, resolving issues, or obtaining managers' authorisation as required.
- Entering supplier invoices & coding all non-trade supplier invoices for General Ledger.
- Reconcile suppliers' and general creditor accounts to suppliers' statements. Supervise resolution of any outstanding issues.
- Update Daily Creditors Spreadsheet for creditors' payments noting new bank account numbers etc for Westpac Corporate.
- Prepare weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payments and allocations for suppliers as required.
- Communicate with Product Managers, Sales staff, and/or suppliers to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
- Enter the payments and re-allocating payments on creditors' accounts.
- Reconcile and follow up on outstanding issues with suppliers including matters such as claims for rebates and stock rotations.

To be successful, you will have/be:

- 1-2 years experience in a similar position.
- Ideally basic certificate/diploma in accounting or NCEA Level 3 in Accounting or Statistics.
- Intermediate or better Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to own tasks and work autonomously.
- A problem solver with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with high levels of initiative and enthusiasm
