About the Role
The role is based in a single location -Orbit Data Centre in Albany and involves shift work.
The 24x7 Data Centre Site Lead role undertakes operational and facility activity within the Data Centre. Coordinating scheduled and ad hoc tasks with the on-site Data Centre Technicians and Operators as well as actively undertaking tasks as set out by the 24x7 Operations Manager.
The Site Lead role is responsible for their site whilst on shift and supports maintenance activity by following Standard Operating Procedures. Additionally, they are an on-site escalation, responsible for trouble shooting facility and customer issues in collaboration with the 24x7 Facilities Engineers and 24x7 Operations Manager.
The Site Lead role is expected to be an active role, including support for Data Centre Technicians undertaking customer or Data Centre work.
You must maintain a strong customer focus, obsessing over customer deliverables and demanding the highest standards in operational deliverables
