- As an air conditioning installer assistant, your duties typically involve supporting the main technician or installer in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. Some common duties for an air conditioning installer assistant include:

- Assisting with Installation: You will help the technician with the installation of air conditioning systems. This may involve carrying equipment and materials, preparing the work area, and assisting in the installation of components such as ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical wiring.
- Material Management: You may be responsible for organizing and managing materials and tools needed for the installation or repair job. This includes inventory management, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies, and keeping the work area clean and organized.
- Tool Assistance: You will assist the technician in handling tools and equipment, such as power tools, wrenches, gauges, and other specialized instruments used in the installation or repair process. This includes retrieving tools, setting up equipment, and cleaning tools after use.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: As an assistant, you may be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the work area and equipment. This includes cleaning filters, coils, and other system components, as well as ensuring that tools are properly maintained and stored.
- General Support: You will provide general support to the technician during installations or repairs. This can include holding or passing tools, providing assistance as needed, and following instructions given by the technician.
- Safety Compliance: It is crucial to follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. You will assist in ensuring that safety protocols are followed, such as wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to relevant safety regulations.

**Term: Permanent full time position**

**Wage: $30 - $31 per hour**

**Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week**

**Shifted from Monday to Friday 9:30 to 5:30**

You must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
