**About the Organisation**:
The New Zealand Intelligence Community (NZIC) is looking for an experienced and highly competent Portfolio Manager with the necessary ‘tight-lipped’ skills to get amongst enhancing Aotearoa’s national security.

**About the Role**:
This role sits within the Commercial Services Unit which is responsible for facilitating high quality commercial management, procurement and supply solutions for the community. You will work within a team providing advice on commercial solutions with varying levels of complexity and will drive operational change within the scope of your portfolio. Additionally you will use your skills, knowledge and experience to guide the work of lesser experienced team members.

**About You**:
In this role you will:

- strategically lead and manage a portfolio across a number of commercial categories;
- have the experience and insight to develop workable solutions that meet key supply requirements;
- work constructively with suppliers and partners to manage supply risks and maximise opportunities;
- possess the interpersonal skills to develop effective and trusted relationships with suppliers, internal clients and team members;
- be knowledgeable and aware of best practice approaches to commercial management.
