Mentor’s Administrator

My client is an independent not-for-profit organisation founded in 1991. Their service introduces small business owners, start-up entrepreneurs and social enterprise decisionmakers to skilled Business Mentors who gift their time and knowledge to support the success of business owners across Aotearoa, New Zealand. Their Mentors are at the heart of everything we do We’re looking for someone to provide exceptional support to our volunteers. The role will ensure our Mentors have the training, resources, and tools to assist their assigned business owners and remain committed to their business.
The chosen applicant will be based in their Grafton, Auckland office, remotely supporting their Business Mentors nationwide. Working closely with the CEO and Marketing and Projects Executive, you will be empathetic, tech savvy, have a can-do attitude and have exceptional verbal and written skills. You will have a desire to work with our diverse community of Mentors to help our small business community prosper.
**You will report to the Marketing and Projects Executive and be responsible for**:
- Putting BMNZ Mentors at the heart of everything you do
- Support streamlining and enhancing the matching of Mentees to Mentors
- Provide feedback to Mentors from Mentee surveys
- Training Mentors to use Mentor Hub
- IT support for virtual Mentor Training workshops and eventsPutting BMNZ Mentors at the heart of everything you do

- IT support for virtual Mentor Training workshops and events
- Resource Hub maintenance - ensuring articles are up to date and gathering additional resources as required
- Support national mentor recruitment and quality assurance
- Ensuring correct procedures support outstanding mentoring service delivery
- Ensuring goals are performed to a high standard
- Day-to-day administration, including Special projects and reporting as needed

**Some requirements of you**:
- Commitment to outstanding service delivery
- Professional approach and telephone manner
- High level of verbal and written communication
- Organised with good time management and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Eligible to work in Aotearoa, New Zealand
- Ability to work autonomously and with a small team
- Confidence in using and learning IT systems
- Ability to travel around Aotearoa, New Zealand as required (maybe once a year if that)
- Microsoft Office and preferably HubSpot experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
