**Hongjing Food Limited** is looking for one full-time Fast Food Cook to join us in Wellington CBD. **Vacancy Details** **Job Title**: Fast Food Cook **Location**: Wellington CBD **Employment Type**: Full-time **Days required**: Monday to Sunday on shift **Number of Vacancies**: 1 position **Payment: $28.2 - $32.00 per hour** **Hours per week**: guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours a week, a maximum of 50 hours a week. **Key tasks & responsibilities**: - Ensuring all Chinese Cuisine dishes are prepared to satisfy the standard. - Ensuring all Chinese Cuisine recipes and preparation requirements are met. - Taking and serving food and beverage orders and receiving payment from customers. - Preparing fried food such as fried chicken and fries. - Washing, cutting, measuring and mixing foods for cooking. - Operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves, and deep-fat fryers. - Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils. - Ordering and taking delivery of fast-food ingredients. - May arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages. **To be right for this role and our organization, you need**: - No prior experience nor qualification required but would be an advantage if you have experience in this industry. - On-the-job-training will be provided if you are the right one. - Adaptable to change and able to multi-tasks - Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen. - Be reliable and responsible. - Working hard and healthy. **Please note your visa status in the cover letter or CV if you are not a New Zealand Citizen or Resident.** **If you feel this job is right for you, please forward your CV with a cover letter by clicking "APPLY" now.** **Salary**: $28.20 - $32.00 per hour Schedule: - Shift work Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Wellington City, Wellington: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred) Application Question(s): - Are you a New Zealand citizen or resident visa holder - Are you an NZ citizen or an NZ permanent resident? - Do you need a work visa?
