We are seeking for several motivated Warehouse Assistants to join our team.

You will be paid an hourly rate of $29.66 to $30.00 depending on your experience and skill level.

You will be working in Auckland. This role will be a permanent, full time position and will be guaranteed 30 hours of work per week from Monday to Saturday but can be up to 50 hours weekly.

Paid fortnightly, 4 weeks annual leave, Statutory holidays, Sick and bereavement leave. Opportunities to upskill.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Receiving and storing goods: being responsible for receiving shipments of goods and materials, inspecting them for damage or defects, and storing them in the warehouse according to established procedures.
- Picking and packing orders: A warehouse assistant is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by selecting the correct items from the warehouse, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment.
- Shipping and handling: being responsible for coordinating and tracking the shipment of goods to customers, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Inventory management: being responsible for managing the inventory of the warehouse,including keeping track of stock levels, monitoring expiration dates and other quality control measures, and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Equipment maintenance: being responsible for ensuring that all warehouse equipment is in good working order, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
- Cleaning and organization: being responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash and debris, and maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
- Record-keeping and documentation: being responsible for maintaining accurate records of all warehouse transactions, including receiving and shipping logs, inventory counts, and quality control measures
- At least 3 years relevant experience in trading and warehouse management field
- High attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills;
- Pro-active with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic;
- Great communication skills and excellent time management skills;
- Ensure all work is carried out in a professional manner;
- Health and Safety conscious
- An effective team player, able to follow instructions, prioritise workload and motivated to achieve output
