**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
We are seeking a superstar Social Worker to step into a newly created role in our Emergency Department
As this is a new role, we need you to be able to hit the ground running and strategically think of out of the box ideas. You will work within a close-knit multidisciplinary team both within Emergency Department, Acute Care Unit and the wider community and social work team. You will show agility and be enthusiastic in developing a new service from the ground up. This is an exciting role for those looking to make their mark in service development.
Both full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (20 hours per week) opportunity is available. Interested? Please state in your cover letter whether you wish to be considered for full-time or part-time position.
There is a significant commitment to working after hours, weekends and holidays. We envisaged the role will rotate through two weekends a month and hours of work will be 9.30am - 6.00pm for full-time position. Some flexibility on work hours can be negotiated.
