Te tūranga - The role and your impact
The Audit Adviser - Information and Technology contributes to helping business units improve and embed technology related controls. The role plays a pivotal role in ensuring technology risks are identified and managed, adding value to the organisation. This role will provide you with an opportunity to gain an understanding of our objectives, risk management environment, and the varied needs of our stakeholders. You'll work with a supportive manager who is committed to helping you grow and succeed. Your key responsibilities will include conducting technology internal audits across all areas of Te Pūtea Matua, advising management on control effectiveness and communicate results through high quality audit reports. You will also be responsible for following up on open issues and strengthening our audit approach and methodologies.
Ō pūkenga - About you
**If you have**:

- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience providing assurance on general technology controls, information security and technology projects (including evaluating cloud controls).
- Knowledge of, and ability to keep up with emerging technologies, including AI
- Knowledge of data analytics and experience using data visualisation tools (desirable but not a deal-breaker)
