**About the Role**

Are you looking for an enjoyable position where you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge as a dental receptionist? If so, Medacs Healthcare Dental Team can offer you the perfect role

As the first point of contact for the practice, you must have great customer service skills and work well in a team environment. It is a very busy role, so we need someone with exceptional attention to detail, and able to multi-task. Excellent computer skill is a must as the role requires managing appointments and typing up referral letters, and other administrative tasks that may be required.

For this role, we will need you to start ASAP for a minimum of 3 months. You will have a paid orientation before starting your fulltime shifts.

Shifts will be:
Monday 0730-1400
Tuesday 0830-1630
Wednesday 0830-1630
Thursday 0830-1630
Friday 0730-1515

**Responsibilities**
- Meeting & greeting patients
- Excellent communication skills and able to liaise with patients of all ages
- Being part of the team - using your initiative to help and assist the others
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine patient focus
- Reception duties such as: managing phone calls, booking and rescheduling appointments, taking payments, recalls.
- Assist with re-ordering is necessary.
- Ensuring the practice is clean & tidy at the end of the day

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven New Zealand experience as a Dental Receptionist (minimum of 2-3 years)
- Experience with Pritika system
- Pride in appearance, presentation and grooming
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to work well in a team
- Strong multi-tasking skills and be able to work well under pressure
