We are currently seeking a personable, enthusiastic, and energetic Project Director/Associate Director, to join our Christchurch based Cost Management team. Your role will include supporting our continuing growth and making the difference to both our business and to the New Zealand construction sector.
- Deliver quality service to clients including managing priorities and deliverables.
- Take responsibility for your own deliverables and ensure all commitments are completed.
- Manage smaller commissions including fee proposal, team, and job profitability.
- Assist the Associate Director with fee proposal, managing and mentoring junior team members, and assist in managing project costs.
- Responsible for pre
- and post-contract quantity surveying duties.
- Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place.
- Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
- Contribute to developing and delivering the companies initiatives.

**Qualifications**
- A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle
- Relevant degree qualification
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
- Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services
- Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
- Excellent people person and great communicator, both client facing and team based
- 15 years plus experience
