Working in Toi Hiranga (Regulation and Policy) you will contribute to enhancing the safety, wellbeing, and success of New Zealand communities including Māori and Pacifica.
The Data Analysis and Insights team is looking for two data analysts to join us. Our small team has a diverse range of skills and focuses on delivering sound business and data products and advice to ensure we are well placed to help keep New Zealanders safe from harm. Your role will be focused on supporting the development and delivery of data and insights for the Toi Hiranga branch which includes our regulators in Gambling, Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism, and Digital Safety.

**We are looking for someone to**:

- Bring their lived experienced and/or strong knowledge of Te Ao Māori to hep inform our data analysis and insights mahi
- conduct planning and data analysis activities
- build and maintain strong relationships across the department
- translate complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders
- develop understanding of business data needs
- deliver with a can-do attitude and be open to the input of others
- support the use of new analytical systems and standards
- promote the use of data and insights across the branch.

You will join a close-knit team who work together to deliver for the branch in a supportive environment.
