**Judge's Personal Assistant - Māori Land Court**

**Te Haeata/The Opportunity**

A judge's personal assistant (PA) is part of a national team of PAs that provide efficient, effective administrative and secretarial support to Māori Land Court judges, who are also presiding officers for the Waitangi Tribunal, in order to maximise the judges' ability to carry out their judicial responsibilities effectively.

**Ō** pūkenga/Skills and Experience**

As a member of the Māori Land Court and Waitangi Tribunal, you will be expected to use te reo Māori and practice tikanga Māori in your daily work so you will need to be comfortable, competent and confident to do that.
- strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks
- proven experience in delivering effective administrative support services
- outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- high level of discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
- flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

The appointing salary for this role will be between $59,729 and $80,794 based on skills and experience.
