Class 1 Tug Driver for Freight Company

Our client, based at the Airport, are experts in the freight and logistic industry. We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Tug Driver with a Class 2 license to join our client.

**About the role;**

Tug driving involves the towing of dollies with ULD cans or baggage trolleys to and from airline sheds (approx. 10 mins travel). The driving activity is about 90% of an operator's day-to-day task and will suit someone who have good time management and organisational skills, your main target is meeting airline cut-offs while still maintaining safety throughout the day.

During quiet times, drivers are expected to help out in the warehouse with freight sorting and other warehousing duties, so you'll need to be flexible and willing to assist where required.

**Responsibilities involved;**
- Safely operate all vehicles available to carefully transport ULD containers
- Lifting & loading of products weighing upto 15-30kg
- Meet airline cut-offs (On time performance)
- Ensuring on-site Health & Safety regulations are followed
- Aid in a team environment to ensure the highest level of service is received by all customers

**This role requires the following;**
- Valid Class 1 License
- Experienced with various and bigger/odd vehicles
- Have a good sense of distance and observation of surroundings
- Attention to detail and well organised
- Health & Safety conscious for a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and moving in busy environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work unsupervised
